Are you tired of using NSAIDs and risking ulcers? Are you chronically using addictive narcotics for pain management, only to deal with their side effects such as constipation, altered sleep patterns and decreased testosterone levels? Many Colorado residents have tried steroid or viscosupplementation injections with little long term success.
Perhaps it’s time to consider stem cell therapies or PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy, cutting-edge procedures that have the potential to repair injured, torn or arthritic tissue. Up until recently, there has not been many options to attempt to replace damaged cells and potentially restore normal function to various body systems.
Sharper Edge Regenerative Orthopedics is a leader in regenerative medicine offering PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy) and Stem Cell Therapy in Colorado at their Breckenridge clinic.
The future is now. This stem cell therapy at our Colorado clinic uses your body’s own adipose tissue or bone marrow, and avoids the use of fetal tissue, umbilical cord blood.
Here’s how it works. We will harvest the fat stores, from just under the skin around the thighs, buttocks, lower back or flank (mini-liposuction). The stem cells are then processed to increase their concentration. After processing, they are reinjected back into your body where the damage or pain has occurred. The stem cells and their chemical messengers may work toward restoring function and/or relieving pain by rebuilding cartilage or tissue.
All our procedures are “in-office” and same day, right at our stem cell therapy clinic in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Our stem cell therapy practices follow approved protocols, ideally suited for your specific orthopedic needs. The use of stem cells or a PRP injection might be an option for those patients who are too young for artificial joint replacement or too ill to undergo these large, invasive surgeries. Sometimes other pain relieving modalities such as medications by mouth, injections or physical therapy have already been tried and have failed to provide any measure of relief. If this is you, stem cell therapy might just be the answer!
